Hey all you nonexistent guys and girls out there!
I went on vacation in, guess where... Canada. My family and I went there to ski and no unfortunately we did not see any of the Olympics in Vancouver but we did watch a lot on Canadain TV which doesn't seam like it would really be that special. It really was though because they were hosting it this year everyone was really exited and talking about it.
Really liked watching the men's figure skating. I did (do) figure skate so I really know what their talking about most of the time. So although I thought that the two top skaters were good I thought that some of the others had better footwork as well as spins. Though many couldn't rack up as many points because they don't have a quad. Which brings me to my next point the Russian second place competitor (I didn't want to attempt to spell his name...) launched a complaint about the scoring. I think it was that he thought he should have gotten credit for one more quad than the Judges thought he did. Yeah, don't know if that got resolved. In any case I think he was just being a sore loser. In any case that was a good compitition even with that little dispute.
Onto my own life now because it was acctually the least bit interesting this week. Other than watching the Olympics we really did go out almost everyday to ski. Which was a lot of fun. Though you may or may not know that I have a back problem and skiing did make my back hurt. Yeah not so good. My sister and myself tried snowboarding which was pretty good. We went up the baby hill that we haven't had to go on in on in a long time and tried it out. We fell a lot but ended up learning basic cutting turns by the end of the day. So that was cool I diffinetly want to get better at it. Though being on the little hill is a bit of a change for me having skied since I was 6. Yup. I think that's all.
Go USA!
