Well, I didn't do too many interesting things today. When I was at school we were there for a little while, then we went to the Dairy of Anne Frank. (Anne is pronounced Anna.) The play was about two hours long. But including driving time it was about three hours. On the bus my friend Hally and I listened to her CD player. It was fun. We also talked about the bands that were playing and a bunch of other stuff. Then when we were back at school, we watched part of a movie about Anne Frank. I thought that the play was pretty interesting.
You all probably know about Anne Frank, but I am going to tell you about her anyways. Anne Frank was a 13/14 year old Jewish girl during the Holocaust. She and another family had to go into hiding because the Nazis are taking over Europe and exterminating Jewish people. Jewish people lived in hiding or they were discovered and gassed or worked to death in labor camps. Anne Frank is so famous because her diary got published after the war. It was also made into and play that got great reviews and won awards from critics. She wrote about her life in hiding and her thoughts and feelings. Until she and her household were discovered and sent to work camps. She died at a work camp a few days after her sister Margot died of a sickness. Well I just thought I would share that with you.
Now then I also went to this meeting about a special school trip I am taking. It is for Spanish class, so we are going to a Mexican town in (insert any state you like here.) That wasn't very interesting. We just went over the schedule and they told us not to lose our buddies. That was loads of fun. (Sarcasm intended.) Now I am listening to some classical music for my skating test. It isn't very interesting. Nothing of real importance happened at school (expect Anne Frank.) That's just about it.
See ya Kitty,
Lola
P.S. Props to anyone that knows what the heck I am talking about.
