I don't like to title my posts so that they are centered around ONE thing!

K I got back from Canada again. It was a lot of fun. We skied all the runs we could for 4 days then came back. I don't really want to be back home right now. I would rather be in Canada shredding up the mountain. *Sigh* Oh well.

Now onto a different matter. You know how the theme of the Maximum Ride book. You don't? Well if you don't want to know . . . STOP READING NOW! K the theme of the Maximum Ride book was Global Warming. The Flock was totally right when they said that Global Warming HAS to stop. I went to this blog:

http://www.avianfang.blogspot.com

and it totally inspired me to do something to help the cause. Everyone out there who doesn't know a thing about global warming please click on this link. If you know something about Global Warming click this link. And if you want to know what little things you can do to decrease your carbon foot print then stay right here.

List of small things you can do:

1. Recycle everything you can
2. If you can walk or ride a bike to some of the places you go DO IT
3. This might sound weird but. . . try to eat less meat
4. Get a cloth bag that you can take to stores with you so that you don't have to have all of those bags to throw out
5. ALWAYS turn off lights and appliances when you leave the room
6. If you can un - plug all appliances when you leave the room

List of big things you can do:

1. Go vegetarian
2. Get sun panels on your roof
3. Get an electric car (when there on the market)

I know your all wondering why the meat thing is up there so here it goes. . . The meat industry uses the most electricity and therefore leaves the biggest carbon foot print. It takes a LOT of electricity to produce a hamburger believe me. If you need a few more reasons to stop eating meat click here and if you need any more reasons click here (don't click there if you are in any way grossed out by blood or helpless animals.) All the rest of the things are pretty self-explanatory. (If you don't know a word look it up!) I should go but I'll try to keep you updated.

Later,

Lola
